Every Heckle Club item is made to order — printed just for you the moment you buy, with nothing sitting on a shelf. That shapes how returns work, so we've laid out exactly what happens in every situation. No fine-print games.

The short version

  • If we or our printer messed up — a flaw, damage, or the wrong item — we fix it free. Always.
  • Because items are printed on demand, we can't take returns or refunds for the wrong size, wrong color, or a change of mind.
  • Never ship anything back. Just email a photo — we sort it from there.
  • Need to fix a size or address? Tell us fast, before it goes to print, and we'll change it for free.

How to start a claim

Email hello@heckleclub.com and include:

  1. Your order number
  2. A clear photo of the issue (for damage or a wrong item, include the shipping label too)
  3. A quick note on what's wrong

We reply within 1–2 business days. You'll never be asked to mail anything back.

What we fix for free

These are on us — report within 30 days of delivery with a photo and we'll make it right at no cost to you.

Defective or misprinted Covered

Cracked or peeling print, blurry or off-center artwork, wrong colors printed, holes, bad stitching, or any production flaw.

You get
A free replacement of the same item, reprinted and reshipped at no charge.
We need
Your order number + a photo showing the flaw.
Window
Within 30 days of delivery.

Arrived damaged Covered

Your order showed up broken or damaged — a cracked phone case, an item torn or stained in transit.

You get
A free replacement. For phone cases and socks we can issue a refund instead if you'd prefer.
We need
A photo of the damaged item and the packaging/label.
Window
Within 30 days of delivery.

Wrong item received Covered

You got something different from what you ordered — wrong design, wrong product, or a size that doesn't match your order confirmation.

You get
A free replacement of the correct item (or a refund on phone cases/socks). Keep the wrong one — no need to return it.
We need
A photo of what you received + your order number.
Window
Within 30 days of delivery.

Lost in transit Covered

Tracking stalls or your package never arrives.

You get
We open a carrier investigation. Once it's confirmed lost, we reship it free.
We need
Your order number — contact us within 30 days of the expected delivery date.
Note
If tracking shows "Delivered" but you can't find it, that's a carrier/theft matter — we'll help you file a claim, but it isn't eligible for an automatic free replacement.

What we can't take back

Because each item is printed on demand, there's no inventory to restock and nothing to resell — so the following aren't eligible for a return, refund, or free replacement. This is the honest reality of made-to-order, and it's how we keep prices fair.

Some difference in color, print size & placement Normal — not a defect

Our product images are mockups and digital previews — the design as we send it to print. Because every item is printed individually (DTG/DigiSoft), expect some difference between the photo and what arrives: colors can shift, the printed design can vary in size and placement, and screens and phones show color differently than fabric.

Good to know
This kind of difference is normal for print-on-demand and isn't a defect, so it isn't covered by replacement or refund.
But
A genuinely faded, cracked, badly off-center, or misprinted item is covered — see "What we fix for free" above.

Wrong size ordered Not covered

The item is exactly what you picked, but the size doesn't fit.

What to do
Check the size chart before ordering — our tees run slim, so many people size up. Need a different size? Place a new order for the right one.
Heads up
If your order hasn't gone to print yet, email us right away and we'll switch the size for free (see below).

Wrong color or variant chosen Not covered

You received the color/variant you selected at checkout but wanted a different one.

What to do
Place a new order for the one you want. If it hasn't printed yet, contact us fast and we'll try to swap it.

Changed your mind Not covered

Ordered by mistake, no longer want it, or simply changed your mind.

What to do
If it hasn't entered production, we can cancel for a full refund. Once it's printing, we can't cancel or refund.

Need to change or cancel?

We can change the size, color, or shipping address — or cancel for a full refund — only before your order enters production, which usually begins within a few hours of ordering. Email hello@heckleclub.com as soon as possible with your order number. Once an item is in print, it's locked in.

Wrong or incomplete address

Please double-check your address at checkout. If your order ships to an address you entered incorrectly:

  • We can fix it for free only before it ships — contact us immediately.
  • If it's already shipped, a wrong/incomplete address isn't eligible for a free replacement.
  • If the package comes back to us as undeliverable, we'll refund the product price (shipping is non-refundable), or reship it once you cover shipping again.

How refunds work

  • When a refund applies (mainly damaged/lost/wrong phone cases & socks, or any covered item we can't replace), it goes back to your original payment method.
  • Approved refunds post within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
  • For tees, our standard fix is a free reprint rather than cash — it's the fastest way to get you the shirt you actually wanted. If a reprint can't resolve it, we'll refund you.

Why it works this way: we stand behind our quality 100% and cover every genuine defect, damage, or mix-up for free. We just can't resell a shirt printed with your team's heckle on it — so we don't accept size or change-of-mind returns. Honest trade-off, fair prices, and we've got your back on anything that's actually our fault.
